Building Certifications

Royal Centre is registered in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance (EB:OM) program and currently holds LEED EB:Gold level certification. Royal Centre also holds BOMA Best Gold certification, and CaGBC Zero Carbon.

Waste Diversion

Royal Centre has achieved a significant improvement in waste management between 2016 and 2022, resulting in an 86% reduction in waste sent to landfill!

Evo Car Share

Adventure starts right here at Royal Centre. With a dedicated Evo Car Share fleet conveniently located in our parkade, tenants can enjoy a flexible, sustainable way to get around the city—no personal vehicle required. Just hop in and go.

Bike Share

Located at the Melville Street entrance, the Mobi Go bike share service makes public bicycles available for shared use to individuals on a short-term basis. The bikes can be unlocked from one station and returned to any station in the system, making bike share ideal for short, one-way trips.

ChopValue

We proudly partner with ChopValue to recycle chopsticks in our centre. Using the recycled chopsticks, the organization creates new products for re-entry into the community.
